THE BANQUETING HALL is the largest interior at Number 45 Millbank. It is ideally suited to banquets, wedding receptions, larger parties and major presentations. This magnificent setting interconnects with the Red Room, offering even more opportunities to stage an unmissable event.
Within the Banqueting Hall, guests are surrounded by a century of history, now mixed with the spirit of innovation that is Chelsea College of Art and Design.
The elaborate ceiling is decorated with late 17th century style plasterwork in subtle two-tone paints. Below it, tall casement windows flood light on to fireplaces festooned with carved swags of fruits and cherubs. The lofty gallery rises above rich wood panelling and a specially commissioned ‘wave’ carpet, to create a room of elegant Edwardian grandeur mixed with contemporary chic. It requires little extra adornment to run a themed event, and for memorable photography.
